Thanks to the integrated functions of the Split therapy couch, this model is ideal for applications in physiotherapy, osteopathy, chiropractic, and manual therapy. The headrest (including nose slit and padding) and the lowerable armrests are continuously adjustable, allowing patients to position themselves comfortably in the prone position and to relieve strain on the neck muscles. The elevating leg section (up to 70°) allows the therapy couch to be converted into a chair.
The firm, therapeutic padding and the continuously adjustable Trendelenburg position also allow for chiropractic manipulation.
An all-round control panel for electrical height adjustment as well as a full-fledged wheel lifting kit for easy movement of the table around the room are included as standard on this treatment bench.
Certification and security
The SPLIT therapy couch is certified according to the EU Medical Device Regulation (EU) 2017/745, Class 1 , and complies with the current recommendations of the BfArM (Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices) on "Integrated Safety," which prevents accidental activation of the electric height adjustment.
An automated motor ensures that the table automatically returns to a safe standby mode after the procedure. If the user wishes to restart the table, a deliberate double-tap of the control element is required to unlock the treatment table from a standby mode. The height adjustment must then be performed within three seconds before the table automatically returns to standby mode. This prevents unintentional height adjustment.
